Our children's canvas tote bag with its tiger design has been created exclusively for the National Gallery. Illustrator Sam Everitt was inspired by Henri Rousseau’s jungle scene entitled “Surprised!” or “Tiger in a Tropical Storm”. Rousseau depicts a tiger that’s about to pounce on an unseen target… and the image on our bag reinterprets the face of the stalking tiger.
This children's bag has been made from 100% cotton canvas. It’s 25cm tall and has green handles at the top plus a National Gallery tab on the edge. The tiger image appears on both sides, ensuring you always make an impact!
Despite their practicality, tote bags are a relatively recent fashion trend. Ours is small enough to be used as a handbag or carried by a child – but it’s also suitable for school, college or work.
This small tote bag is a fun way of supporting the National Gallery. The exclusive design will get everyone talking, while you’ll be assured that every purchase helps to maintain one of the greatest collections of Western European painting in the world.
