John Constable’s painting of “The Cornfield” was first exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1826. It’s thought to depict the landscape on the border of Essex and Suffolk, although some elements in the picture have probably been invented by the artist.
This quintessentially English summer scene is the inspiration for our exclusive Constable artificial flower bouquet. It’s been designed for The National Gallery by Nikki Tibbles, the creative director at London’s highly-acclaimed Wild at Heart florist. Everlasting corn, buttercups, poppies, cornflower, daisies, cow parsley and forget-me-nots are presented in a free-standing basket wrapped in green paper and tied with a red ribbon.
The result is a beautiful floral basket that calls to mind a nostalgic landscape of wild flowers. They’d be a memorable way to say “Get Well Soon”, especially because the everlasting flowers don’t need any special attention. Our basket bouquet can be delivered anywhere in the UK within 24 hours if you place your order before 2pm. Each arrangement is expertly created by hand, so the exact size and shape will differ slightly from the photographs (medium pictured). Please check our terms and conditions for full details.
