Notable for its depth of colour and intriguing mood, the portrait of “A Lady with a Squirrel and a Starling” is a favourite of floral designer Nikki Tibbles. The image, which was painted in the early 16th century by Hans Holbein the Younger, shows the sitter with a tame squirrel - which wouldn’t have been a particularly unusual pet at the time.

Nikki, the creative director of highly acclaimed florist Wild at Heart, has created a series of exclusive bouquets that follow the colour theme of this painting.
