Leonardo da Vinci’s talents as an inventor and scientist often overshadow his work as a Renaissance artist. The National Gallery is about to redress this with a forthcoming exhibition Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan, and the works in that exhibition have inspired this bouquet.
The colour and detail of Leonardo’s The Virgin of the Rocks meet the herbal skills of the 15th century pharmacist in this beautiful arrangement by Nikki Tibbles of acclaimed London florist Wild at Heart. For example, the bouquet features St John Wort hypericum berries, a flower that was understood to have healing properties, white eryngium thistle combined with vintage tone roses.
Each floral arrangement is expertly assembled using high-quality fresh flowers, which means the content will vary according to the season. The arrangement will be wrapped in silver paper and bound with a midnight blue ribbon; alternatively, this floral knot is also available in an attractive pewter vase.
The bouquet can be delivered anywhere in the UK within 24 hours if you place your order before 2pm. All flower deliveries are subject to availability and seasonal variations apply; please check our terms and conditions for full details.
