Taking her inspiration from the 17th century painting of “The Virgin and Child Embracing” by Sassoferrato, Nikki Tibbles – creative director at renowned florist Wild at Heart – has designed a bouquet that’s the perfect gift for any new mother and baby.

The tenderness revealed in the Renaissance-style artwork is echoed in the delicately detailed floral arrangement, while Sassoferrato’s bold colours also find their way into the bouquet. Only the best flowers of the season are used, which means every bouquet will differ slightly from our photograph.

Depending on availability, you could find delicate ‘Pepito’ roses, wax flower, lisianthus, anemone and tulips. The finished bouquet is then wrapped in parchment-like paper and tied with a ribbon.
