Anatomica Mocha Cup and Saucer

Inspired by the anatomy drawings of Leonardo da Vinci, our mocha cup and saucer combine the detail of a medical textbook with a particularly English sense of humour.

Designer Lisa Turner has used fine bone china for this distinctive mocha cup and saucer. Her Anatomica range celebrates the skill of 19th century illustrators by turning their drawings, etchings and photographs into contemporary conversation pieces. Together, this mocha cup and saucer depict a moustachioed man and his internal organs. They’re designed for drinking mocha – a blend of coffee, milk and chocolate – and are slightly smaller than a standard coffee cup.

This mocha cup and saucer is made in the UK. It’s an unusual, fun way of celebrating the parallel development of science and art – from Leonardo da Vinci to the present day.
