The Dutch masters enjoyed demonstrating their skills with still life paintings. These showcased their abilities to capture a variety of textures and light effects. Nikki Tibbles, the highly-acclaimed florist from London’s Wild at Heart, has been inspired to create a bouquet that reflects the eclectic mix of flowers often seen in Netherlandish art. The attractively quirky arrangement uses carefully-chosen fresh seasonal flowers including lilac, guelder rose and a colourful array of roses to match the layered style favoured by artists such as van Huysum and van Brussel. The flowers will be delivered in a free-standing basket that adds to their impact. Each arrangement is unique and will consist of high-quality flowers selected according to seasonal availability.
