Holbein White Flower Bouquet

Rate this

Notable for its depth of colour and intriguing mood, the portrait of “A Lady with a Squirrel and a Starling” is a favourite of floral designer Nikki Tibbles. The image, which was painted in the early 16th century by Hans Holbein the Younger, shows the sitter with a tame squirrel - which wouldn’t have been a particularly unusual pet at the time.

Nikki, the creative director of highly acclaimed florist Wild at Heart, has created a series of exclusive bouquets that follow the colour theme of this painting. Each bouquet features all-white fresh flowers wrapped in chocolate brown paper and tied with a teal ribbon. The combination of flowers will be chosen according to the season, with white roses, Casablanca lilies, white stock and white iris being used alongside white peonies and magnolia when they’re available.

Whether it’s for a birthday or a ‘Get Well Soon’ message, our white flower bouquet can be delivered anywhere in the UK within 24 hours if you place your order before 2pm. All flower deliveries are subject to availability and, as you’d expect, every bouquet is slightly different. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
