Titian's Cheetah Decoration

This Cheetah Christmas Decoration, which is exclusive to the National Gallery, is inspired by Titian's painting Bacchus and Ariadne

Accompanied by his entourage, Bacchus is drawn into Titian's great work by two Cheetahs. Ariadne is less than engaged by his attentions, although she comes round in the end, and it's his ability to create whole constellations that does the trick. If only we had that one up our sleeves.

We commissioned co-operatives in Thailand and India to recreate the cheetah in this exclusive Christmas decoration with wonderful bronze embroidery.
