London Taxi Decoration

The original London FX4 taxi was created by a partnership of three separate businesses: motor retailer Mann & Overton, vehicle body maker Carbodies and the Austin Motor Company. Since its launch in 1958, the FX4 black cab has become a British motoring icon… and this amusing Christmas decoration captures its magic.

Our London taxi is made from felt by women’s co-operatives working to Fairtrade principles in Thailand and India. One side is embroidered with metallic thread while the other is plain. A silver-coloured loop enables the decoration to be hung from almost any Christmas tree. It looks great on its own – and can also be paired with our felt London Bus decoration for extra impact!
