Blend no.129 Fine Black Tea – Ceylon FBOP, Cinnamon & Orange Peel
Inspired by Avercamp’s A Winter Scene with Skaters near a Castle this fine tea is the perfect winter warmer for the autumn and winter seasons.
With delicate undertones of Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe (FBOP) and subtle flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange, the tea perfectly embodies the winter wonderland depicted in Avercamp's painting. Red, black and white peppers tempered with soft vanilla give the tea an added hint of sugar and spice. Perfect for cosy nights in.
This unique range of fine teas has been carefully chosen by the Tea Master of The East India Company exclusively for the National Gallery.
Ingredients: Black tea FBOP, cinnamon, orange flowers, orange peel, pepper (black/white/red), nutmeg pieces, vanilla essence, cloves, vanilla pieces.
Granted a Royal Charter by Queen Elizabeth I in 1600, the East India Company was founded to explore the mysteries of the East. In the process it mapped trade routes, discovered exotic goods and established trading ports which would grow into the cities of Singapore, Hong Kong and Mumbai. It changed customs, tastes and ways of thinking, influencing the very fabric of our lives today.
This tea is part of the Delicious Art collection.
