Impressionists: Exhibition on Screen

Impressionists: Exhibition on Screen

Written and directed by Phil Grabsky, this documentary focuses on the Impressionist work collected by Parisian, Paul Durand-Ruel in the 19th Century, providing access to a new exhibition with masterpieces on display in the Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Luxembourg, London's National Gallery and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Durand-Ruel played an important part in the artistic movement, supporting artists such as Monet and Degas by exhibiting their work and introducing the form to affluent Americans.

“The most significant Impressionists show we've seen in two decades.” – Telegraph
