Monet's Garden in Art (PB)
Both a source of artistic inspiration and an artistic passion in and of itself, Monet's gardens were another creative outlet for the Impressionist painter.
Next to painting, gardening was one of Monet's most powerful passions. The artist once told his dealer, Paul Durand-Ruel, that he gardened 'so that there would be flowers to paint on rainy days'.
An inspiration for some of his greatest paintings, learn more about the Impressionist's delightful havens, from the flower-beds of his first family homes to his water lily pond at Giverny.
