National Gallery Technical Bulletin: Volume 40
The National Gallery Technical Bulletin is an annual record of research carried out at the National Gallery, London. Drawing on the combined expertise of scientists, conservators and curators, it brings together a wealth of information about artists’ materials, practices and techniques.
This volume continues the National Gallery’s acclaimed Technical Bulletin series with a selection of studies across the range of the collection, jointly authored by experts in the field of conservation and the scientific examination of paintings.
